In Chapter 3 she shares how her parents discovered Michael and Debi Pearl’s book To Train up a Child. If you start at chapter 1 and then read chapter 2 and chapter 3 you will find that it is a very gripping, albeit disturbing, story about punitive parenting from the child’s point of view.
