Abusive by Definition
I found this secular blog entry which I found interesting. It links to the Salon Article about the Pearls, discusses it a bit and then goes on to look further at the Blogger’s own observations of how the Pearl’s advice is abusive by definition. She compares it to the well known Cycle of Abuse seen in marriages.
Very interesting, Linda. It confirms my idea that there are not so much “child abusers” & “wife-beaters”, etc, as there are simply *abusers*…..People who attack whomever they know is unable defend themselves.
