Just wanted to say, thank you for posting. My dad refuses to talk to me or have anything to do with my boys because we don’t spank and we won’t let him hit them. I’m sure it’s not hard to figure out that I came from a violent hous. My dad was a very angry, violent, abusive person–not so much towards me but towards my brother and animals (right in front of us) It has caused me years of problems, but I feel like now, at 34, I am finally being healed. Anyway, it’s just nice knowing that I’m not the only one dealing with an unreasonable parent over spanking.
