Prosecutors file new charges against the Williams

The Skagit Valley Herald reports that the prosecutors in the Williams case have added the charge of first-degree manslaughter by domestic violence to the existing charges of  homicide by abuse for Hana and first-degree child assault for their younger adopted son.  They also quote the charging documents as saying, “offense was part of an ongoing pattern of psychological, physical, or sexual abuse of a victim or multiple victims manifested by multiple incidents over a prolonged period of time.”

This new charge is most likely a back up in case they cannot use the charge of homicide by abuse which is only applicable to victims under 16.  Since Hana’s age is not known, they cannot prove it in court at this time.  There is a hearing scheduled for mid-December to decide if her body will be exhumed in order to determine her actual age.

This article is also posted in The Seattle Times with a few minor changes.

Have you ever seen pictures of the Williams’ family? They are super sweet… or were until the corrupt CPS began systematically destroying their family. You may not agree with the Pearl’s methods (I don’t agree with many of them) but treating a family like this is not the answer. Those poor kids must be heartbroken having suffered through their very happy family being literally torn apart by the self-serving government. Please do not propagate lies against people whom you know nothing about. The news is all sensationalism.

These people need our prayers and support. People in this country are to be assumed innocent until proven guilty. Remember that.

I am totally confused. In what way have I propagated lies? All I have done is link to news stories about the trial. The trial is of interest to this blog because the Williams were known to follow Pearl’s teachings. It is undeniable that if a child dies in someone’s care, that person must be tried in court. That is not self serving, that is justice. The News stories are only printing the facts of the case. CPS did not get involved until Hana was found dead and naked outside the house. But I do wish to be fair. I will post your comments and allow you to defend the Williams here. Please explain their side of the story. What really happened? Why was it that she was emaciated and covered with stripes? Why did their children tell the authorities that Hana was bad and was therefore spanked with plumbing line and not allowed in the house? Did you read the sheriff’s report? If not, please read it and then tell me their side of the story. Either way, I am sure that they will get a fair trial and the truth will come out.

I always like to give them the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. They are often very sincere. I do find it interesting that they rarely answer my questions. I didn’t even ask what seeing a picture of them could possibly have anything to do with anything. Williams’ Supporter seems to honestly believe that looking and acting sweet equals sinless and that everyone should just ignore a dead child since their innocence in the matter is obvious.

I heard Carri Williams speak on the 911 tape, and she didn’t sound “sweet.” She sounded as if she were trying to blame a child she forced half-dressed into the cold for her own death.

Larry and Carri do not look “sweet” to me. Larry looks angry, and Carri looks self-righteous.

Yes, we should pray for them because they definitely need to ask forgiveness from God and from their children.
